Biography

Jadey Hartley is an award winning 25 year old qualified and insured makeup artist, eyelash technician and beauty therapist. Jade has been based in Middlesbrough, Burnley, Manchester and Ibiza but is now mobile in Manchester and in Pinks.co salon, Burnley for one day per week.

Jade has always had a passion for makeup as her mother is also a makeup artist, she saw the confidence and transformations that even a simple application could bring and throughly enjoys sharing that passion with her clients. Jade has been working in the makeup industry for over 8 years assisting Stacy her mother, she has assisted in photoshoots, catwalks including the longest catwalk which took place during London fashion week, wedding parties, birthday parties and classic makeup applications. In 2017 Jade decided to get a diploma in the introduction to makeup so that she could easily get insurance to give makeup applications away from the salon, she classes herself as self taught as the course was very basic and she has learnt all of her skills through practising on herself and models.

In 2016 Jade trained in facials and microdermabrasion so that she could care for her clients skin and advise people on how to look after their skin and what products they should use. Jade and Stacy have a passion for skincare and enjoy researching new procedures, routines and products. Stacy has a cosmetics company which Jade is a tester for, it is natural, mostly organic and hand blended. Before Stacy began making skincare Jade found it hard to find products that did not cause damage to her sensitive skin, she had acne and found that nothing worked and only caused more breakouts, using the natural products from Naturoso her skin has completely transformed. From dry, sensitive, acne prone and full of blackheads it is now glowing, normal and rarely gets a blemish, “ I never thought that I would have the complexion that someone would comment about in a positive way, my confidence is completely boosted and I love helping people and giving them advice on what products would help their skin”.

2019 was the year Jade decided to branch out and complete a training course in semi permanent eyelashes, it is a treatment that Jade herself has been getting for years and she wanted to be able to offer more services to her clients and keep up to date with current service trends. Tatti Lashes is where she trained and she picked up the skill very quickly and has been called a natural by other people in the industry.

In the summer of 2019 Jade decided to work the season in Ibiza before she moved back home from Middlesbrough where she attended university. She worked mainly for Jadey Pinks doing makeup, lashes, body art and glitter but also worked for Makeup Box and It’s in your Dreams.

Jade regularly gets asked to blog about makeup tips, skincare advise and style tips. She decided to put a blog on this website to share her knowledge, opinions and passion with other people. There is also a positivity page on the blog as she believes in positive vibes only and thought sharing some of her favourite quotes would help inspire other people to be positive and happier too.
